Happy August — it’s hard to believe we’re already in the final stretch of summer! In case you missed it, the Tesla Diner opened up in LA and Robotaxi service expanded across the Bay Area! Have you had a chance to check either out yet?

This month, I’m excited to highlight Omni Instrument, a team bringing fresh ideas and new tech to disrupt the torque tool incumbents.

We started Omni Instrument to fix a simple problem we kept running into on the line. Bad or missing fastening data creates scrap, rework, and recalls. So we are building an intelligent handheld tool that knows the bolt, chooses the right bit, applies precise torque, and captures clean data in real time.

We are sprinting on the prototype and lining up pilot sites with a few great partners in automotive and aerospace. We would love to show you a quick demo and hear where our tool could save you time & cost on your line.
